Very Rev. Protopresbyter - Stavrophor Milorad Lončar visited Embassy of Serbia

5 December 2025 – The Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Pretoria had the honor of hosting Very Rev. Protopresbyter - Stavrophor Milorad Lončar from the Serbian Orthodox Church – Metropolitanate of Australia and New Zealand.
During a cordial and substantive discussion, the importance of preserving the spiritual, cultural, and national identity of the Serbian diaspora worldwide, including in Southern Africa, was emphasized. Special attention was given to the role of the Serbian Orthodox Church in bringing the Serbian community together, nurturing tradition, and supporting Serbian citizens living and working across different continents.
The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia, Saša Mart, expressed his gratitude to Lončar for the visit and for his long-standing contribution to preserving the unity of the Serbian community around the world, as well as for his interest in the activities of the Embassy in Pretoria and the position of the Serbian community in the Southern African region.
