Serbia’s Statehood Day Marked at the EUMAM Mozambique Mission
Serbia’s Statehood Day was solemnly marked at the Headquarters of the EUMAM Mozambique in Maputo, in a ceremony hosted by the Mission Commander, Commodore Cesar Pires Correia.
The ceremony commenced with remarks by the Mission Commander, who emphasized the high regard and professionalism of Serbian personnel participating in European Union missions. He particularly highlighted that Serbia’s representative in the Mission, Captain Miloš. Rajković, has been performing his duties with outstanding professionalism and dedication. Captain Rajković also addressed the attendees, underscoring the historical importance of Statehood Day (Sretenje) as a symbol of Serbia’s statehood, freedom, and constitutional tradition.
Following the remarks, the flags of the European Union and the Republic of Serbia were ceremonially raised, symbolizing Serbia’s continued contribution to international peace, stability, and cooperation.
Representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Pretoria also attended the ceremony.
