New children’s group of the Serbian Socety „Afrika“

Johannesburg, August 8, 2026 - Ambassador Saša Mart attended the launch of the new children’s group of the Serbian Cultural and Artistic Society “Afrika,” which has been operating since 2010 as the only registered Serbian society in South Africa.
In his remarks, the Ambassador recalled the association’s numerous activities, as well as its special significance in preserving and presenting our cultural heritage and the Serbian language — an effort in which the Serbian school “Sveti Sava” also plays its part, operating according to the curriculum of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Serbia. He extended particular thanks to Danijela and Milan Grašinović for organizing the new children’s group, greeted the representatives of the leadership of SKUD “Afrika” and the Serbian school, as well as all the parents present, and wished everyone great success in their continued joint work.
