Meeting between the Ambassadors of Serbia and Venezuela in Pretoria

The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Republic of South Africa Saša Mart, met with the Ambassador of Venezuela, H.E. Mr. Carlos Feo Acevedo.
In an open and cordial conversation, the two ambassadors exchanged views on the bilateral relations between Serbia and Venezuela, emphasizing the traditional friendship and mutual understanding that link the two countries. They highlighted the importance of continued mutual support in international organizations and forums, based on the principles of sovereign equality, respect for international law, and non-interference in internal affairs.
The discussion also focused on prospects for further enhancing cooperation in the fields of culture, education, science, and agriculture, as well as on initiatives to strengthen engagement within the Southern African region, where both embassies are active and committed to promoting joint projects of mutual interest.
The ambassadors agreed on the readiness of both sides to deepen political dialogue and to continue working together in promoting multilateralism, solidarity, and a more just international order.
