Meeting between the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia Saša Mart and the High Commissioner of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, H.E. Mr. Malik Muhammad Farooq

The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Republic Saša Mart, met with the High Commissioner of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, H.E. Mr. Malik Muhammad Farooq, in Pretoria.
During the cordial and constructive meeting, both sides discussed opportunities to further strengthen bilateral relations between the Republic of Serbia and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, with particular emphasis on expanding cooperation in the fields of trade, education, culture, and multilateral engagement.
The interlocutors also underlined the importance of the Republic of South Africa as a key platform for promoting dialogue and cooperation between Serbia and Pakistan, noting that both diplomatic missions in Pretoria play an active role in fostering regional connectivity and exchange of experiences.
Ambassador Mart reaffirmed Serbia’s commitment to continue promoting dialogue and partnerships through its Embassy in Pretoria – not only with the Republic of South Africa but also with other nations represented in the country, including Pakistan.
Both sides agreed on the potential for enhancing trilateral cooperation among Serbia, Pakistan, and South Africa, particularly in areas such as investment, trade, education, and tourism, as well as through joint participation in international forums and exchange programs for students and business communities.
The meeting took place in a spirit of friendship, mutual respect, and shared readiness to deepen cooperation, with a mutual understanding that concrete initiatives and projects of common interest will be pursued in the period ahead.
