Meeting between the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Pretoria and the High Commissioner of the Kingdom of Lesotho

The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Pretoria Saša Mart met today with the High Commissioner of the Kingdom of Lesotho to the Republic of South Africa, H.E. Mr. Nitsime Jafet.
The two ambassadors exchanged views on the friendly relations between Serbia and Lesotho, founded on mutual respect and a long tradition of cooperation. The discussion focused on exploring new opportunities to further strengthen collaboration, particularly in the areas of agriculture, education, healthcare, and technical assistance.
Both sides emphasized the importance of enhancing regional cooperation within the framework of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) and identified potential areas for joint initiatives aimed at fostering development and stability across the Southern African region.
The meeting reaffirmed the continuity of warm and friendly relations between Serbia and Lesotho, as well as the shared commitment to advancing cooperation with a strong focus on regional engagement and common development priorities
