Meeting between the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia and the High Commissioner of the Kingdom of Eswatini in Pretoria

The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Republic of South Africa, Mr. Saša Mart, met in Pretoria with the High Commissioner of the Kingdom of Eswatini, H.E. Ms Lindiwe Cynthia Kunene.

During a cordial and constructive meeting, the interlocutors highlighted the traditionally close and friendly relations between the Republic of Serbia and the Kingdom of Eswatini, as well as their shared commitment to further strengthening bilateral ties. Views were exchanged on bilateral cooperation, with particular emphasis on opportunities for enhancing collaboration in the fields of economy, defence, and education.

The ambassadors underlined the importance of strengthening economic relations and trade, as well as the potential for cooperation in the field of defence and military-technical collaboration, in line with the priorities and needs of both countries. The significance of cooperation in education was also emphasized, including knowledge exchange, academic cooperation, and scholarship programmes.
