Meeting of the Ambassador Saša Mart with the Ambassador of Japan in Pretoria

October 30 - The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to South Africa Saša Mart, met with the Ambassador of Japan in Pretoria, Mr. Shimizu Fumio.
During meeting, they discussed Japan’s experience in organizing #EXPO2025 which has just been completed in Osaka, as well as the significance of the forthcoming #EXPO2027 in Belgrade for strengthening international cooperation and cultural ties.
Special attention was given to the bilateral relations between Serbia and South Africa, Japan’s engagement with the host country, and prospects for cooperation in the fields of economy, culture, and education, as well as the role of both countries in the development and stability of Sub-Saharan Africa.
The meeting underscores the continued commitment of the Embassy of Serbia to strengthening diplomatic and economic ties, as well as promoting international cooperation through cultural and educational initiatives.
