Meeting of the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Pretoria with the DIRCO Chief Director for Central, East, Northern Europe and Baltic States

The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Pretoria Saša Mart, met with the Chief Director for Central, Eastern, Northern Europe and Baltic States at the Department of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO) of the Republic of South Africa, Ms. Phumzile Mazibuko.
In a cordial and constructive exchange, the two sides discussed opportunities for intensifying bilateral relations between Serbia and South Africa, with particular emphasis on enhancing political dialogue and organizing high-level visits.
Ambassador Mart underlined the importance of developing economic and trade cooperation, as well as fostering closer ties between the business communities of the two countries in areas of mutual interest.
The meeting also included discussions on the possibilities of improving cooperation in the field of visa policy, including the liberalization of the visa regime for Serbian nationals.
Both sides expressed readiness to continue constructive dialogue and concrete activities aimed at strengthening the friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries.
