Meeting of the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia with the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt

Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Pretoria, Saša Mart met with the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt in the Republic of South Africa, H. E. Mr. Ahmad Ali Sharif.
In a friendly and constructive atmosphere, the interlocutors discussed the possibilities for further improving bilateral relations between Serbia and Egypt, as well as ways to strengthen cooperation within the Southern African region. The importance of intensifying political dialogue, economic ties and cultural exchange between both countries – Serbia and Egypt with the Republic of South Africa – was emphasized.
Special attention was paid to the possibilities for economic cooperation, investment promotion and connecting business communities, as well as the development of cultural and educational ties. The interlocutors agreed that there is significant potential for initiatives that would contribute to strengthening the presence of both countries in the Southern African region.
