Commemoration of Victory Day in Johannesburg

Johannesburg, May 8 - The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Republic of South Africa, Saša Mart, laid a wreath on the occasion of Victory Day in World War II at the Allied Military Cemetery in Johannesburg, where members of the Yugoslav Army outside the Homeland are also buried.
During the commemorative ceremony, tribute was paid to all Allied soldiers who gave their lives in the fight against fascism and for the freedom of nations across Europe and the world.
The ceremony was also attended by the Consul of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Pretoria, Ivan Samardžić.
