Briefing by the Minister Ronald Lamola for Heads of Diplomatic Missions from Europe

The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Republic of South Africa Saša Mart, attended a meeting held on 23 April 2026 at the headquarters of the Department of International Relations and Cooperation – DIRCO in Pretoria, organized by the Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Ronald Lamola, with the participation of the Deputy Minister, Alvin Botes, and resident Heads of Missions from the Europe region accredited to Pretoria.
The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on further enhancing political, economic, and trade cooperation between the Republic of South Africa and European countries. In an open and constructive discussion, participants also exchanged views on the current international situation, with particular emphasis on strengthening bilateral relations, multilateral cooperation, as well as investment and trade exchange.
