Ambassador of Serbia met with representatives of the Serbian community in Botswana

The meeting was held in a warm and open atmosphere, providing an opportunity to exchange views on the position and activities of the Serbian community, as well as on ways to further strengthen its ties with the Republic of Serbia. Particular emphasis was placed on preserving the Serbian language, cultural and national identity, and maintaining close links with the homeland.

Ambassador Mart expressed his appreciation for the Serbian community's contribution to promoting Serbia's positive image in Botswana and reaffirmed that the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Pretoria will continue to support Serbian citizens and members of the Serbian community in strengthening their mutual cooperation and connections with Serbia.

The participants welcomed the opportunity for direct dialogue and reiterated their shared commitment to further enhancing cooperation between the Serbian community and the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Pretoria, which is non-resident accredited to the Republic of Botswana.
