Ambassador of Serbia met with the Chargé d’Affaires of the Republic of Iraq in Pretoria

The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to South Africa Saša Mart, met with the Chargé d’Affaires of the Republic of Iraq in Pretoria, Mr. Ali Osam Abed Ali.
In a cordial and constructive discussion, the two sides exchanged views on ways to further enhance bilateral relations between Serbia and Iraq, with particular attention to areas of mutual interest such as economy, education, and culture.
Ambassador Mart emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between the two countries, noting that mutual interest in more intensive communication and exchange could lead to tangible results in the period ahead.
Special attention was also given to opportunities for cooperation within the context of South Africa, as an important platform for engaging with the broader African market. Both embassies expressed readiness for coordination and joint initiatives in this regard.
The meeting took place in an atmosphere of mutual respect and friendship, reaffirming the shared commitment to further developing relations between Serbia and Iraq in a spirit of partnership and constructive dialogue.
