Ambassador of Serbia met with Botswana's Minister of Sport and Arts

During his visit to Gaborone, following the presentation of his Letters of Credence to the President of the Republic of Botswana Duma Boko on July 16, the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia non-resident accredited to the Republic of Botswana, Mr. Saša Mart, met with the Minister of Sport and Arts of Botswana, Mr. Jacob Kelebeng.

The meeting continued the constructive dialogue initiated during Minister Kelebeng's visit to Belgrade in May this year, which focused on strengthening cooperation in the field of sport and launching initiatives aimed at revitalising cultural cooperation between Serbia and Botswana.

The two interlocutors reaffirmed their shared commitment to further enhancing bilateral relations, with particular emphasis on cooperation in sport, culture and the arts. They also discussed concrete activities that could foster closer institutional links, facilitate the exchange of expertise and promote joint projects in the period ahead.

Ambassador Mart thanked Minister Kelebeng for the excellent cooperation and expressed confidence that the friendship and partnership between Serbia and Botswana would continue to grow for the mutual benefit of both countries.
