Ambassador of Serbia meets Botswana's Commissioner for EXPO 2027 Belgrade | Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Republic of South Africa

The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Republic of Botswana, Saša Mart, met in Gaborone with Keletsositse Olebile, Chief Executive Officer of the Botswana Investment and Trade Centre (BITC) and Botswana's Commissioner for EXPO 2027 Belgrade.

During the cordial and constructive meeting, the interlocutors discussed Botswana's participation in EXPO 2027 Belgrade and opportunities to further strengthen bilateral economic and investment cooperation.

Both sides noted with satisfaction that preparations for Botswana's participation in EXPO 2027 Belgrade are progressing according to schedule, supported by close cooperation and regular coordination between the relevant institutions. Ambassador Mart presented the latest developments regarding Serbia's preparations for hosting the Specialised Expo, while Commissioner Olebile reaffirmed Botswana's commitment to a successful participation.

The interlocutors agreed that EXPO 2027 Belgrade will provide an excellent platform to showcase Botswana's investment and business potential while creating new opportunities for strengthening economic cooperation and international partnerships.
