Ambassador of Serbia discusses the future development of the Serbian School "Sveti Sava" in South Africa

The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to South Africa, Saša Mart, met with Violeta Pavlović Marinović, teacher at the Serbian School "Sveti Sava" in South Africa, to discuss the further development of the school and the strengthening of its cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Pretoria.

During the cordial and constructive meeting, they reviewed the school's achievements to date and explored opportunities to further improve the educational programme, increase student enrolment, and strengthen the engagement of the Serbian community in South Africa through educational, cultural and community activities.

Special attention was given to plans for the upcoming school year, the organization of joint projects and events, and initiatives aimed at preserving the Serbian language, culture and national identity among younger generations of the Serbian diaspora.

Ambassador Mart reaffirmed the Embassy's continued commitment to supporting the Serbian School "Sveti Sava", recognizing its important role in preserving the national identity of the Serbian community and strengthening ties with the homeland.
