Ambassador Saša Mart met with His Eminence Damaskinos, Archbishop of Johannesburg and Pretoria

Ambassador Sasha Mart had a meeting with His Eminence Damaskinos, Archbishop of Johannesburg and Pretoria, on October 16 in Johannesburg.
In a very cordial conversation, His Eminence Damaskinos highlighted close ties between the Greek and Serbian peoples and also spoke about the position of the two communities in South Africa. It was also jointly noted that the two churches, the Greek and Serbian Orthodox Churches, have a long tradition of very close relations.
