Ambassador Saša Mart met with the High Commissioner of Sri Lanka

Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Pretoria, Saša Mart, met on December 8, with the High Commissioner of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, H.E. Udeni Rajapaksa.
The meeting included a constructive exchange on opportunities to further strengthen bilateral relations between Serbia and Sri Lanka, with particular focus on enhancing political dialogue, economic cooperation, and coordination within multilateral fora. Both sides emphasized the importance of their diplomatic engagement in South Africa, recognizing the country as a key regional hub for African and international initiatives.
Ambassador Mart and High Commissioner Rajapaksa agreed that active participation within the diplomatic community in South Africa contributes to a deeper understanding of regional developments and creates new avenues for cooperation. Both sides expressed readiness to continue advancing collaboration through concrete initiatives in areas of mutual interest.
