Ambassador Saša Mart meets with representatives of the Gauteng Growth and Development Agency

The GGDA representatives presented opportunities for strengthening cooperation between Gauteng Province and the Republic of Serbia, with a particular focus on developing economic and business ties.

The discussion focused in particular on the opportunities for Gauteng’s participation in EXPO 2027 Belgrade, which represents an important platform for showcasing the province’s economic potential and establishing new contacts with Serbian institutions and the business community.

Particular attention was also given to the first practical steps towards establishing more concrete economic cooperation between Serbia and Gauteng, including connecting relevant institutions and companies and identifying areas of mutual interest.

The meeting confirmed the mutual interest in continuing contacts and translating identified opportunities into concrete forms of cooperation, with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia.
