Ambassador Saša Mart meets with Brand South Africa Director to discuss promotion, tourism and EXPO 2027

Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Republic of South Africa Saša Mart met today in Johannesburg with Brand South Africa Director Neville Matjie. The meeting was held at the headquarters of Brand South Africa, South Africa’s official national marketing agency responsible for promoting and positioning the country and its national brand.

The meeting focused on opportunities to strengthen cooperation in the fields of promotion and tourism, as well as on ways to more effectively present the tourism and other potentials of Serbia and South Africa.

Particular attention was paid to South Africa’s participation in the specialised EXPO 2027 Belgrade. The interlocutors discussed the opportunities for South Africa’s participation in this important international event to serve as an additional platform for promoting South Africa in Serbia, as well as for enhancing its global positioning and presenting its potential to an international audience.

Ambassador Mart and Director Matjie agreed on the importance of continuing communication and exploring concrete opportunities for cooperation, particularly in the context of preparations for EXPO 2027, which will provide an important platform for promoting and further strengthening ties between the two countries.
