The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia visited the Apartheid Museum

The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Republic of South Africa Saša Mart visited the Apartheid Museum in Johannesburg on May 15, where he met with the Museum representative Mduduzi Ntuli.

During the cordial and constructive meeting, views were exchanged on the importance of preserving historical memory, educating younger generations, and the role of museums in promoting the values of freedom, human rights, and reconciliation.
On this occasion, Ambassador Mart highlighted the traditional support and assistance that the former Yugoslavia had provided to the anti-apartheid struggle and the liberation movement of the people of South Africa, emphasizing the historical ties of solidarity and friendship between the two countries and peoples.
The interlocutors also discussed opportunities for future cooperation between the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia and the Apartheid Museum, including potential joint projects in the fields of culture, education, and public diplomacy.
