Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to South Africa attended the “Post-G20 Presidency Review Workshop”

The workshop focused on reviewing the achievements and legacy of South Africa’s G20 South Africa Presidency, as well as on advancing the priorities of the African continent and the Global South within global economic governance.
Discussions highlighted key aspects of South Africa’s G20 Presidency, remembered as the first time a G20 Leaders’ Summit was hosted on African soil. Particular emphasis was placed on multilateral cooperation, inclusive economic development, and strengthening the voice of developing nations in international institutions.
The workshop was officially opened by Mr. Zaheer Laher, Chief Director: UN Political at DIRCO, who underlined the importance of continuing dialogue and cooperation following South Africa’s G20 Presidency.
