9. December - The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Pretoria Saša Mart met with the High Commissioner of Singapore, H.E. Zainal Arif Mantaha.
The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on strengthening bilateral relations between Serbia and Singapore, with particular focus on enhancing economic cooperation, trade ties, and the exchange of best practices in the fields of digital transformation and innovation.
The interlocutors also discussed avenues for advancing cooperation in South Africa and the wider region, recognizing the importance of the presence of both diplomatic missions in Pretoria for supporting economic, development, and investment engagement. They emphasized that activities undertaken in South Africa serve as an important platform for expanding partnerships with local institutions, organizations, and the business community.
Both sides highlighted the importance of further intensifying political dialogue and deepening cooperation within multilateral frameworks, including initiatives that contribute to sustainable development, technological advancement, and improved global connectivity.
