Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia gives interview to SABC Channel Africa

The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Republic of South Africa gave an interview to Michael Mbewe, a journalist from Channel Africa, a programme of the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC), during a meeting held at the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Pretoria.

The interview focused on bilateral relations between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of South Africa, opportunities for their further advancement and deepening, as well as the importance of intensifying political dialogue and cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

Particular attention was devoted to EXPO 2027 Belgrade, its significance for Serbia and international cooperation, as well as the participation of the Republic of South Africa in this major international event. It was emphasised that EXPO 2027 represents an important opportunity to further strengthen ties between Serbia and South Africa and create new opportunities for cooperation across various fields.

The discussion also addressed current international issues and the complex geopolitical situation in the world, as well as the importance of multilateralism, respect for international law and dialogue in addressing contemporary global challenges.

The interview for SABC Channel Africa provided an opportunity to present to the South African public the priorities of the Republic of Serbia regarding the further development of bilateral relations and its contribution to international cooperation
