142nd anniversary of the University of South Africa

Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Pretoria, Saša Mart, attended the “UNISA 2025 Founders’ Lecture” on 20 November, a ceremonial academic event marking the 142nd anniversary of the University of South Africa (UNISA).
The keynote address was delivered by distinguished global economist and professor Jeffrey Sachs, Director of the Center for Sustainable Development at Columbia University and United Nations Special Advisor on the Sustainable Development Goals. In his lecture, Professor Sachs addressed key challenges of the global economy, the importance of sustainable development, and the vital role of academic institutions in shaping future economic and social policies.
